Philip Glass and the Tapping Steering Wheel
00:00
24:27
In the back streets of New York City, a struggling musician drives a yellow taxi through the night. Philip Glass works as a plumber, cab driver, and furniture mover — but secretly, he is writing music that will change the world. When a trip to India and a meeting with sitar master Ravi Shankar unlocks a new way of hearing, Glass brings the hypnotic rhythms of the East back to the streets of Manhattan.
