About

MusicDooDoo is a project by Emilia Yin and Emmanuel Sharef, created to share the magic of classical music with children through storytelling.

Our Inspiration

MusicDooDoo draws inspiration from Karlheinz Böhm’s beloved German series “Wir entdecken Komponisten” (We Discover Composers), which introduced generations of children to classical music through engaging narratives about composers’ lives. We wanted to create something similar for English-speaking families—stories that weave together biography, history, and beautiful music into adventures that spark curiosity and wonder.

Each episode brings a great composer to life, not through dry facts, but through the moments that made them human: their struggles, their triumphs, and the music that flowed from their experiences.

Music Sources

All music featured in MusicDooDoo episodes comes from public domain recordings, primarily sourced from Musopen and the Internet Archive. The musical compositions themselves are in the public domain (composed before 1928), and we use only recordings that are either in the public domain or released under Creative Commons licenses.

AI Disclosure

This content is AI-generated. The scripts, narration, and artwork for MusicDooDoo episodes are created with assistance from artificial intelligence tools including Claude (Anthropic) for story scripts, ElevenLabs for narration, and Google Gemini for artwork.

While we strive for historical accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. The stories are intended as entertainment and inspiration, not as authoritative historical references. We encourage curious listeners to explore further through books, museums, and other educational resources.
